Jenn and Anthony | Ryan Nicholas Inn Wedding Photos | Greenville Wedding Photographer
“There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.”
– Sarah Dessen
Remember Jenn and Anthony? I could argue that I got to know them quite well. After all, I have been working with them for nearly a year, first with their Engagement Photos, and again with Jenn for her Bridal Photos. Wedding photographers are unique in the wedding industry in that we are able to develop a closer relationship with our clients, in the fact that our job is rarely started or finished on the wedding day. We have responsibilities like additional sessions, engagements, bridals, rehearsal dinners – not to mention ongoing communications, scheduling, and planning the day. I would go as far as to say that with the exception of a planner, the wedding photographer will have a closer relationship with with the bride and groom than any other wedding vendor. Of course, Jenn and Anthony were both amazingly fun to work with, but they went much further than that. Their wedding day was both beautiful and full of surprises – The depths of their character and their love for each other went far beyond what I thought I knew about them.
FYI Jenn also operates a very interesting lifestyle blog, She’s All Naturale, for all things fitness, fashion, and (of course) life.
I rarely tear up at weddings, but I am not ashamed to admit I did when Jenn read the letter Anthony wrote her at the beginning of the day. Along with everyone else in the room that is. The entire day was very emotional from start to finish, and there were many times where there was not a dry eye in the house.
Jenn and Anthony chose the beautiful Ryan Nicholas inn in Simpsonville, SC as a backdrop for their wedding day. I always enjoy photographing here – Kim (the owner) is always fun to work with, and the venue has unlimited potential for photography. It was also nice to stay dry and be able to do the couple’s and family portraits inside by the staircase when the thunderstorms started rolling in.
After their beautiful wedding ceremony, it was time for the reception. As a lot of my clients are, Jenn and Anthony live for this part of the day. And once again, they had a roller coaster of emotions. Starting with the amazingly touching and tearful first dances and ending with one of the wildest wedding parties I’ve ever witnessed was something I was not expecting. I wasn’t expecting it, but I definitely enjoyed every minute of it – This couple’s love for each other is beautiful, and was amazing to witness.
I hope you enjoyed these snapshots from Jenn and Anthony’s wedding day! It was incredibly difficult to prune their wedding down from nearly 1000 incredible photos, and I wish I could have shown everything. That will be something that the couple gets to enjoy privately. Thank you for viewing, and as always, contact me today if you are looking for a passionate wedding photographer in Greenville SC, or nationwide.
