Caesar's Head elopement photos

Elopement photography is a unique take on an ages-old idea.  The idea that you don’t always need a big, fancy wedding day filled with dozens of vendors and hundreds of guests to get married – All you need is love, and each other.  Elopements are also a celebration of the differences that make every couple unique –  What works for one couple doesn’t necessarily work for the next.  For every couple that wants to celebrate their wedding surrounded by friends and family under the setting of the biggest, happiest party they will ever throw, there is another couple who just wants to celebrate quietly, privately, and alone.  However, in this modern age, elopements are vastly different from what they used to be.  Professional photography and the ability to remember their day through beautiful, artistic photography is still very important to these couples.  The fact that they aren’t having a massive celebration should not mean that they can’t still enjoy the wonderful memories in the way that only artistic photography can do.  That is where elopement photography begins.

If you follow my work, you know I love taking couple’s photos.  Elopement photography is just that – a short ceremony followed by a block of time to relax, enjoy the scenery, and take photos to commemorate your new lives together with zero stress.  In a way, it is the purest form of wedding photography – Focusing solely on the couple and their love for each other with nothing else to worry about.  This is exactly what Will and Mallory wanted with their elopement, and I was very happy to be a part of their unique celebration at Caesars Head overlook.  Check out some of my favorites from their elopement below:
