“Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within.”

If you’ve been following along with my real wedding blogs, you know that one of my favorite things about being a Greenville SC wedding photographer is that we have the best brides and the best wedding venues around, period. I have worked with many different couples, and they all put their unique spin on their wedding day – Some prefer to focus on casual reception fun, and some like to go all-out for a full-day wedding with decorations, plans, and ideas. Hannah and Justin are the first couple I’ve worked with that fully embraced BOTH approaches for their wedding – and the results were spectacular.
The interesting thing about their Greenville Grace Church and Commerce Club wedding is that it is a perfect reflection of themselves as a couple. Individually, they reflect these two ideals perfectly – Hannah is the planner, with so many beautiful ideas and things she wanted to incorporate into her wedding; Justin is the guy who enjoyed the day as a laid-back celebration of fun. When you put them together, they are the perfect compliment to each other, like no other couple I have seen. Hannah makes things happen, and Justin keeps her calm and grounded – they are like two magnets…perfectly balancing each other out and creating an inseparable bond in the process. However, they are not polar opposites. they have so many similar traits, but each one is also everything that completes the other. No wonder they are such a great couple together, and their wedding day was a wonderful amalgamation of their spirits.

Hannah chose the beautifully decorated Swamp Rabbit Inn for her bridal party preparations, and Justin chose to prepare at his house, throwing a casual cookout for his groomsmen. Justin had some other company as well – their Sheepadoodle Tux. Remember Tux from their engagement session? Click that link to see that pooch instantly grow from 30 to 80 pounds of fluff. Tux was actually a big part of their wedding, so getting to incorporate him into the day as well was a great bonus for me.
Hannah and Justin chose beautiful Grace Church in Downtown Greenville for their ceremony. There were so many little details that came together here, from the live music to the flowers – I wish I could fit everything here in this blog. Fun fact: Hannah and Justin hired the same bagpiper that I met earlier this year at another wedding in Grand Highlands, in the Asheville area. The bride’s name in that wedding? Hannah. What a small world we live in.
Their reception at The Commerce Club certain did not disappoint. They are such an active couple, and their friends/family were no different. The entire night was filled with dancing and fun. Fueled in part by their amazing wedding band, Flashback The Party Band – they made for some memorable photos and helped complete the night.
I hope you enjoyed this small sample of images from Hannah and Justin’s epic Commerce Club Wedding. I hope you found it as incredible as I did.
