Megan + Lee
Some people are classy, and some people are ambitious. Some people are amazingly both at the same time. I am pretty blessed to get to work with couples like this all the time, but Megan and Lee seem to blow everyone else out of the water on both fronts.
As for classiness, well just look at the photo above and tell me they are dripping with elegance as a couple. And for their ambition…well let me just tell you about their session. They wanted something totally unique, and something I’ve never done before – a split engagement session with one half in the mountains, and one half in Downtown Asheville NC. Why was this so ambitious? Well, Asheville being a mountain town, the closest true mountain locations are still an hour away. Adding an hour drive right in the middle of an engagement session is very tough to do as it is, but combined with all the extra planning that goes into a mountain session PLUS trying to time it all with sunset downtown is the definition of ambitious. But if you know me, you know I love a good challenge, and so do Megan and Lee. I would say we made it work – in fact it turned out to be one of my favorite engagements of the year. It just goes to show how important careful planning on good communication is to making engagement photos like these a success.
Check out some of my favorites from this amazing split session below!
As a Greenville wedding photographer, I am always stoked to travel to a new area for engagement photography. Asheville is always one of my favorites, and I would love to do more work here in the future. I hope you have enjoyed Megan and Lee’s engagement photos! Here are the locations we used in their engagement session:
Blue Ridge Parkway, Black Balsam Knob
Pack Square Park
Downtown Asheville NC
It’s looks like a few of these are taken on top of a building downtown Asheville, it is so gorgeous!!! Where is this at?
