Wedding at Twigs Tempietto | Greenville SC
Hannah + Cameron
Do you remember Hannah and Cameron? They are a pretty unique couple so say the least. You may remember them from their Furman engagement session earlier this year which was a ton of fun. Hannah and Cam are just plain fun to be around. their sense of humor is infectious, and when you get these two together, you just know you’re in for a fun time. Of course this makes my job as a wedding photographer pretty easy. After all, that’s what my job is – to show the little moments that tell the full story of the wedding day. So a couple like Hannah and Cam are wedding photography gold. They work so well together that they put everyone around them at ease. Their lives are full of wonderful friends and family that are every bit as fun as they are. And they just plain look good together. I knew from the start photographing their wedding would be a totally unique experience.
Hannah and Cam also chose one of my favorite local wedding venues: Twigs Tempietto. I really enjoy photographing weddings at Twigs because of the variety – you have everything from well-lit interiors to natural outdoor locations, all the way to the completely unique tented ceremony location. Add to that the fact that Hannah got ready at the Embassy Suites downtown and had most of their group photos taken at Falls Park, and you have one of the more varied weddings I have photographed this year.
Check out some of my favorites from Hannah and Cameron’s wedding at Twigs Tempietto below!
Getting Ready at The Embassy Suites, Riverplace
The embassy suites is always a good place to get ready. The rooms are well-lit, there is ample parking, and it lies in a central location to downtown Greenville SC. I was with Hannah and her bridesmaids for quite a while that morning, which I always enjoy since it means I can brag getting ready photos that I don’t normally get to try. Special thanks to Michael Gibbons media for helping me cover the groomsmen as my second photographer.
First look and wedding photos at Falls Park, downtown Greenville SC
To be honest, Falls Park can be hit or miss for taking wedding photos. Since most weddings take place on Saturdays, Falls Park can sometimes be so crowded that you can’t move, and you spend all your time fighting the crowds for a good photo spot. But not this time. It was overcast today, which cleared out most people. We were extremely lucky to have such good weather, so few people, and so much gorgeous Fall color. Add in Hannah and Cam as a couple, and I couldn’t have asked for a better combination for wedding photos at Falls Park.
Wedding Ceremony at Twigs Tempietto
After the majority of the photos were taken, we arrived at Twigs Tempietto for the wedding ceremony. After some short family photos and additional couple’s photos, their ceremony went off without a hitch. I find that is usually the case with Danielle Baker as the Officiant, but it’s something we sometimes take for granted. Seeing the look on Cam and Hannah’s faces during the ceremony was a wonderful experience, and I am so glad to have been there to witness their wedding ceremony at Twigs.
Wedding Reception at Twigs Tempietto
Now for the real fun – the reception. Hannah and Cam were the life of the party of course, which is really saying something with the lively group they had here. There really was no dull moment at their wedding reception – Just check it out for yourself!
