the one I laugh with,
live for,
dream with,
love”

Being a Greenville wedding photographer is great – there is nearly unlimited opportunity to learn, grow, and practice as a photographer in the midst of countless beautiful and unique wedding venues. But there is also the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most amazing, down-to-Earth people I’ve ever met. Sometimes it can be rare to find two truly, genuinely good people – people who are kind and caring to the point where you just can’t help but end up smiling when they’re in the room. Well Theresa and Frank are two of those people. And I found myself smiling with them the entire day.
Theresa and Frank had a beautiful ceremony at Prince of Peace Catholic Church here in Greenville South Carolina. They actually found my website from some previous wedding photography work I did there (link: Tommy and Michelle’s Greenville SC Wedding), and I always love photographing in this big, beautiful, well-lit church. After the ceremony and formals, they had a chance to relax during a social hour – a good excuse to unwind after a hectic day and visit with friends/family before the Commerce Club reception.
They held their reception at The Commerce Club, a beautiful and modern wedding venue right in the heart of downtown Greenville. This was actually my first time photographing a Commerce Club wedding reception, and with several more 2016 weddings on the books here, it definitely will not be the last time. There’s something unique about photographing a wedding reception 17 floors in the sky above the beautiful city of Greenville, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. And with perfect weather and a beautiful sunset, this unique venue resulted in some truly memorable wedding photography. After a long, fun reception, it was time for the send-off; and even though a beautiful wedding is a long, difficult work day for a wedding photographer, I couldn’t help noticing that I was still smiling when it came time to pack up. I wish much luck to the wonderful couple – thank you for sharing your day!
