Engagement photos at Cliffs at Glassy Chapel

I’ve been slacking off lately when it comes to posting engagement samples…sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything on my list. But Ansley and Justin’s engagement session was pretty unique….so unique that it definitely needs it’s own post. There are 3 things I loved about their engagement photos. First, it took place outside the Cliffs at Glassy Chapel, an iconic Greenville wedding venue that is perfect for both a mountain vibe and easy access. Well I assume easy access, since Justin works with the venue he was able to get special permission to use the area. That brings me to point #2 – Justin and Ansley themselves are a joy to work with. Of course I say that about all the people I work with (Because I work with the best!), but they have a unique outlook on life that was a ton of fun to photograph. I saw many emotions in their engagement – Happiness, romance, goofiness, and honestly the entire engagement session just had an adventurous, optimistic feel to it.
Those first two reasons are great on their own, but add in the fact that we were able to do their engagement photos at sunrise made it absolutely perfect. Since the chapel faces the sunrise, it meant we were able to get a truly different look to the environment. It didn’t matter that we didn’t make it inside the chapel, because the surrounding area is stunningly gorgeous at sunrise. And although I am NOT a morning person, sunrise engagement photos…especially in the mountains…are always enough to make me jump out of bed excitedly.
